Infrastructure

The eLwazi platform aims to provide infrastructure to support efficient processing, organizing and accessing data across the DS-I Africa consortium. The objective is to understand the use cases and to use existing standards such as GA4GH and other technologies such as Dockstore to develop implementations. Different cloud platforms and technologies will be available for researchers and these need to be integrated to ease the research flow. The GA4GH Data Connect, AAI and Passports, DRS and WES APIs will form the core standards for developing the eLwazi platform. A diagram showing where technologies and GA4GH standards will be used is provided below.
